Fly Future 2023: Youth-focused Aerospace Event Draws 700+ Visitors in Rome

Fly Future 2023, the growing Event for aviation and space professionals, attracted over 700 Visitors in Rome, featuring 50 Speakers and 30+ exhibitors

Numbers are on the rise for Fly Future 2023, the career guidance event for future professionals in Aviation and Space.

The second edition of this event, which recently concluded at the European University of Rome, saw the participation of approximately 700 visitors over two days, mainly high school students from 5 regions (Piedmont, Liguria, Lazio, Campania, and Puglia), marking an increase of over 30% compared to the first edition in 2022.

Growing Numbers

The number of exhibitors doubled, with more than 30 booths representing aerospace companies and associations. The event program also experienced significant growth, featuring about 25 conferences and lectures, with the participation of approximately 50 speakers, including pilots, astronauts, flight school managers, airline representatives, experts, and professionals.

“We are truly pleased with the results of only the second edition of Fly Future, which has already witnessed significant growth in both the quantity and quality of participation”, commented Luciano Castro, the event organizer.

“It is noteworthy to mention the presence of many high-ranking executives from important institutions, flight schools, airlines, and aerospace companies, who seized the opportunity to meet numerous young individuals interested in becoming future professionals in the aviation and space sector. In the meantime, we have already begun working on the third edition, which will likely be held in February 2024.”

Companies Partecipation

The program of “Fly Future 2023” featured the presence of airlines and aviation companies (such as ITA Airways, Aeroitalia, Wizz Air, and Avincis), air traffic management companies (ENAV Group), flight schools (Urbe Aero, European Aviation Academy, Aero Locarno, and Aviomar), and aircraft maintenance companies (Atitech and SEAS).

Space industry companies (Avio and Thales Alenia Space) were also present, along with Technical Higher Institutes, aviation training institutes and networks, drone pilot schools, specialized media outlets, and government entities (National Civil Aviation Authority, Italian Air Force, and State Police), in addition to numerous associations in the aviation and astronautics sectors.

“Fly Future 2023” was promoted by the Ifimedia association in collaboration with Mediarkè and the European University of Rome.

The event received endorsements from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), the National Flight Safety Agency (ANSV), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the Italian Federation of Companies for Aerospace, Defense, and Security (AIAD), the Aero Club of Italy, and AOPA Italy.
